2023 Panini Three and Two Baseball is one of those products that lets you know pretty much exactly what you’re getting simply by it’s name. The three is for the base cards, parallels and inserts. Two marks the number of hits — one encased autograph and one encased memorabilia card.
Like 2023 Donruss Baseball, player selection opts for a past and future approach. Without an MLBPA license, Panini doesn’t have any active vets. However, retired players and prospects are in play for the checklist.

This marks the second year for the baseball brand, which spun out of One Football and One and One Basketball. Each is a little different in their configurations but their focus and style of hits are all similar.
When it comes to young talent, Prospect Jersey Autographs and Prospect Dual Jersey Autographs both offer the dual-hit combination. Hall of Fame Signature Swatches do the same with a selection of baseball’s greats.

Memorabilia inserts come in five themes. Among them is Jumbo Swatches, which gets its names for the oversized pieces embedded in them.
When it comes to inserts, All Prospect Team, Contemporaries, On the Horizon and Sluggers are all new in 2023 Panini Three and Two Baseball. There’s also Spotlight Spikes that, according to Panini, are extremely tough pulls.
While a lot of the attention is on the product’s chase elements, there is a base set in Three and Two as well.
